Dicapta Foundation presenting at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum 2021

On March 11, the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum 2021 will be hosting the panel The Coronavirus Response – ICT Case Repository, and Dicapta Foundation is honored to be part of the panel. 

Maria Victoria Diaz, President of the Board at Dicapta Foundation, will highlight the challenges that people with disabilities, and the deafblind community, in particular, have had during the pandemic. She will also share how we used our GoCC4All technology to make available COVID 19 related information in a format accessible to deafblind individuals.

This year the WSIS Forum is being held entirely online. It started in January and features a weekly program. The final week of the Virtual WSIS Forum 2021 will be 17-22 May 2021, consisting of policy statements, interactive high-level dialogues, a WSIS Prize ceremony, a ministerial round table as well as a series of WSIS Action Line facilitation meetings.
